Upon finishing your tattoo appointment you will leave the shop with a bandage.
Remove the bandage after 1-4 hours.
Gently wash with warm water and fragrance free antibacterial soap 3 times daily for 2-4 weeks (I recommend liquid gold dial). Wash with your hands. DO NOT USE A SCRUB BRUSH OR ANYTHING ABRASIVE.
Pat dry with a paper towel and let air dry for 15 minutes.
Gently apply a thin layer of an antibacterial ointment (baccitracin, neosporin, A and D, or Aquaphor) twice daily for 3 days. After 3 days switch to a high quality fragrance free lotion (Lubriderm, Euceron, Cocoa Butter, After Inked, etc) for the duration of the healing process.
Avoid pools, hot tubs, beaches, suntanning, excessive outdoor and water exposure for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Do not pick, scratch, or peel your new tattoo during the healing process. If a scab forms, please do not try to pull it off. Allow the scab to fall off naturally.
Do not touch your tattoo with dirty hands. Do not allow anyone else to touch your tattoo.
Tattoos go through a very thorough healing process and require your care to ensure the best results.

Saniderm is a breathable, flexible barrier film designed to be worn for multiple days. SaniDerm will lock in your body’s natural fluids and enzymes keeping your new tattoo hydrated and speeding up the healing
Leave SaniDerm on for 4 to 6 days. When you are ready to remove the barrier film, grab a corner and peel In the direction of hair growth. Following removal wash your tattoo with fragrance free, antibacterial soap. Gently pat dry and apply unscented, high quality lotion. Repeat 3 times daily until your tattoo is completely healed.
If saniderm is removed prematurely, follow my traditional aftercare instructions.
SaniDerm does NOT protect from the sun. Avoid direct sunlight, and any kind of rough treatment to your new tattoo for a minimum of 2 weeks.
After SaniDerm is removed DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel your new tattoo.
Preparing for your tattoo
Be sure to get a good night’s rest the day before your appointment
Eat before your appointment. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks.
Don’t sunburn before your appointment
I have music playing or the tv on when I tattoo. Feel free to bring your own music, headphones, ipad, etc. Pillows and blankets are recommended for longer sessions. Bring whatever you need to be comfortable within reason.
Age restrictions
You have to be at least 18 years old with a valid government issued ID in the state of florida.
Although minors are allowed to get tattooed with parental consent in Florida, I have chosen not to tattoo anyone under 18 under any circumstances. This is a professional choice I have made and stand by. If you cannot wait til you are 18 I will absolutely recommend you to an artist who will take care of you.
